Welcome to Europe's first poutinerie
Event Announcement:
According to one legend Poutine was invented in 1957 in Warwick, Quebec. A customer at a diner is said to have asked for his order of fresh cheese curds to be put in the bag with his fries. The proprietor, Fernand LaChance apparently responded: "Ca va faire une maudite poutine" - “That's going to make a damn mess” - and thus a Canadian Classic was born.
M POUTINE is the first of its kind in Europe. You won't find any other quick-serve restaurant offering such a unique menu exclusive to Poutine. M Poutine's goal is to bring the authentic Quebec classic to people all around the world.
M POUTINE is a one of a kind food concept.
Take Poutine, a dish that is as quintessentially Canadian as hockey, set out to introduce it to the rest of the world, and you have M POUTINE. Europe’s first ever Poutinerie opened in Munich in July 2010. At M POUTINE diners can choose from a menu of different Poutines, made with natural, regional and mostly organic ingredients.
M POUTINE has created a number of signature homemade gravies. These include an amazing beef gravy, a rich, delicious chicken herb gravy, the creamy paprika gravy (loved by our vegetarian guests) and Ragù alla Bolognese for meat lovers.
In any given week M POUTINE might feature themed gravies and toppings - think “Indian Week” with Chicken Curry Poutine or “BBQ Week” with a variety of BBQ sauces…
